1900 Census for CB, Iowa

BAILEY

All my life I had heard about my Uncle Charley Bailey who went to Iowa and was killed in a horrific car wreck where both his wife, Abigail, and his daughter Lulu were killed outright at the scene.

Today I discovered that he was in the 1900 Federal Census for Pottawattamie County, living on 6th Street. I do not see him in 1920. Perhaps he and his family have moved or perhaps they are dead by this time. I have not found them in the Obituaries and after looking at half of the cemeteries did not see them in the cemeteries. They are also not on findagrave.com either. I hate it when a relative just disappears!

I am hoping that someone has access to the Council Bluff City Directories and can follow along to see how long they are listed in the directory. Thank you for your help.
