I am looking for information on the German origins of Lewis Wehrhahn (ca 1842-1903) who arrived in Council Bluffs perhaps as early as 1863, and who died there in 1903. His wife was Margaretha Kimlein, and they were married in Buchanan Co., Missouri in 1865. Their children were Anton L., Anna (Mrs. C. Christman), Ella (Mrs. Everett G. Lloyd), Jane, Katherine, and Traci. Lewis had a sister, Caroline, who was married to Anton Kelzer and lived in St. Joseph, MO.
