Myrtle Putnam
May 1875 – April 10, 1942

Carson, Iowa – Miss Myrtle Putnam, 66, life-long resident of Carson, died at the home of a sister, Mrs. Francis Lehmann, Omaha, Friday night from a lingering illness. The funeral will be held Monday from the Monger funeral home in Carson. Miss Putnam had lived all of her life at the family home, located five miles east of Carson. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was superintendent of the Sunday school and secretary of the Spring Creek church near here. Survivors are a brother, William, with whom she lives, a brother, Fred, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Killenger, all of Carson, Mrs. Francis Lehmann of Omaha, Mrs. Blanche Cleveland of Des Moines, and Mrs. Edna Way of Houston, Tex.
