Ronald Dale Elliott, age 43, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011. Ronald was born in Omaha, Neb., on November 8, 1967, to Jimmie and Linda Parks Elliott. He worked as a mechanic at House of Mufflers. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie; daughter, Samantha; grandparents, Raymond and Ada Parks, Dale and Violet Elliott, Wayne DeVore Sr., and Joann; father-in-law, Thomas Brown.
Survivors include wife Wendy, of Council Bluffs; daughter, Ashley Elliott and Ralph Carmona Jr., of Clearfield, Iowa; sons, Dakota, and Robert Mattice; daughters, Elly Reed and Kevin, and Jamie Brown, all of Council Bluffs; 7 grandchildren, Alexis, Kathleen, Austin, Dominick, Ethan, Dylan, and Ralph III; mother, Linda DeWolf and Wayne DeVore Jr.; sister, Ada Rodriguez-Ledesma and Victor; brother, Jerry Elliott and Mary Beth, all of Council Bluffs; step mother, Susan Elliott and her daughters, Kim and Kelly, all of Bellevue, Neb.; special sister and brother-in-law, Suzi and Steve; great aunt, Joyce Zellner; 8 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation with family Thursday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services Friday, 1:30 p.m., all at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Rev. Dr. E. A. Hering, officiant. Private interment at Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials to the family preferred.
