Obituary
Daniel Walker deceased was born October 7, 1826, at Troy, Vermont; died at his home in Bonesteel, South Dakota, Nov 28, 1903, aged 77 years, 1 month and 21 days. Brother Walker was at one time a resident of Oakland, Ia. His remains were brought here for interment in the Belknap cemetery. His wife, Hanna E; son, Solon Walker, also grandchildren, James Bally and wife, and Miss Belle Walker, accompanying the body to Oakland. Short funeral services were held at the home of his brother, K. Walker, Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock, after which the deceased was laid in rest to await the glad resurrection morn. The deceased leaves a wife, son, several grandchildren, two brothers, Oma, of Clinton, Ia, and our fellow townsman, K. Walker Sr., and many old friends and neighbors to mourn his loss. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
