Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Rounds, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Rounds, was born Dec 23, 1902 and died Dec 3, 1903, aged eleven months and ten days. Her remains were laid to rest in the Oakland cemetery.
GRANDPA’S DEVOTION
How sweet and beautiful she lay, but her spirit was not there. The angels had wafted it away to a place, do you know where? They tell me of a place beyond the Ocean’s foam, where He said, “they may come unto me.” They will never need to roam. Oh! We loved her so, but of course she could not stay. They came early in the morn and beckoned her away. O’ give me a kiss, the mother sighed, before you have to go; but little Helen waved her hand; I will keep it for you, you know.
