DIED

Of Typhoid Fever at his father's resident at Traders Point, in this county, on the 9th Inst., Arthur Gilmour, in about the 21st year of his age. Mr. G. was an intelligent and promising young man and was beloved by all his acquaintances. He was by trade a Printer and was not long since a compositor in our office where he gained the good will and esteem of his companions. His illness was short and he now rests in peace whilst his fond parents and friends are called to mourn his early and unexpected decease. How true indeed! "In the midst of life we are in death." He has gone to reap the reward of a short though amiably spent life.
