Obituary: Mary Lou Wrinkle

Mary Lou Wrinkle, age 75, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away April 18, 2012, at Mercy Hospital.

Mary Lou was born February 2, 1937, in Neola, Iowa, to the late Ferdinand and Jennie (Shotwell) Lustgraaf. She attended Abraham Lincoln High School. Mary Lou married Robert Wrinkle on August 30, 1958. She worked for Council Bluffs Savings Bank for 35 plus years, retiring as a vice-president in 1992. Mary Lou was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Wrinkle in 2001; husband, Robert Wrinkle in 2006; 1 brother and 2 sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Joni Kelso and husband, Wade, of Essex, Iowa, Jeni Wrinkle, of Sacramento, Calif.; sons, Ray "Hoss" Wrinkle and wife, Donna, of Crescent, Iowa, Jim Wrinkle and wife, Patty, of Council Bluffs; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Regina Cooter and husband, Emmett, of Eureka, Calif., Norma Miller, of Crescent, Sharon Gray, of Council Bluffs; brothers, Kenneth Lustgraaf, of Shreveport, La., Phillip Lustgraaf and wife, Jan, of Crescent, Raymond and Larry Lustgraaf, both of Council Bluffs; many nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Rosary, Sunday, 6 p.m., followed by visitation with the family until 8 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel.

Funeral Mass, Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church. Rev. Ken Halbur will be the celebrant.

Interment Memorial Park Cemetery with a lunch following at Queen of the Apostles Parish Hall.

The family will direct memorials.
