H. Faye Busse, 88, of Council Bluffs died May 14 at Risen Son Christian Village.

She was born Dec. 3, 1914, in Atlantic to John and Emma (Louis) Rotherham. She worked as a homemaker and seamstress and was the former owner and operator of Faye Busse Drapery. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and church circle.

Mrs. Busse was preceded in death by her husband, G. Willard Busse, in 1977 and a grandson, Bobby Davis, in 1995.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Davis of Council Bluffs and Sharon Sanctorum and husband, Ed, of Pinellas Park, Fla.; a son, Paul Keith Busse and wife, Pauline, of Council Bluffs; a sister, Mary McClellan of Atlantic; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Chapel. The funeral will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Lowell Knauss of Grace Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at Ridgewood Cemetery with a luncheon following at the church.

Memorials may be offered to DEBRA of America or the Diabetes Association.
