Glenda V. Sukup

Memorial services for Glenda Von Sukup, 63, of Council Bluffs will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 634 Willow Ave., with the Rev. Bryan Franzen officiating.

Mrs. Sukup died April 14.

She was born Jan. 11, 1940, in Marysville, Mo., to Edith and Charles Jones of Bellevue, Neb. She graduated in 1957 from Bellevue High School and in 1985 from Bellevue University. She was a volunteer musician and a volunteer for various churches throughout her life. She also volunteered for Council Bluffs Historic Society, Council Bluffs Police Department and IWCC Adult Learning Center. She was employed at Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Duane; son, Dave Stevens and wife, Donna; two granddaughters, Margot and Maria Stevens; brother, Ron Jones, and wife, Donna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the American Cancer Society and Big Oak Ranch (Home for Children), Springfield, AL 35146.
