Brian M. Cudmore

The funeral for Brian M. Cudmore, 42, of Council Bluffs will be Friday at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church with the Rev. E. Jon Benson officiating.

Mr. Cudmore died March 30 at Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.

He was born July 29, 1960, to Glenn and Carole Cudmore in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He previously lived in Crescent. He was a 1978 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School. He was a horseman, rider, trainer and instructor at GlenCarry Stables. Mr. Cudmore also had students at several barns in the metro area. He was a member of the American Horse Show Association. He was named Delux Equestrian Rider. His life was his horses.

Mr. Cudmore and his wife, Kris Stensland-Cudmore, were married 12 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his son, Keegan; parents, Glenn and Carole Cudmore, of Crescent; three brothers, Brent and wife, Kit, of Council Bluffs, Blair and wife, Karen, of Omaha and Barry of California; grandmother, Jean Hyman, of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; nieces, Brooke, Kiley and Rachel; nephew, Cody; mother-in-law, Linda Stensland of Sioux Falls, S.D.; father-in-law, Dr. Vern Stensland of Sioux Falls; aunt, Deborah Hyman, of Moose Jaw, Saskat.; uncles, Danny Hyman and wife, Marilyn, of Calgary, Canada, Wes Cudmore and wife, Ida, and Warner and wife, Elma, all of Regina.

Visitation with the family will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the church.

Memorials may be offered to Keegan Cudmore Trust Fund c/o Peoples Bank in Crescent.
