Memorial service for Janice Y. Fay, 67, of Council Bluffs will be Saturday at noon at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Noel Kropp officiating.

Mrs. Fay died March 28 at Bethany Lutheran Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Council Bluffs to Thurman and Clara Knudsen. She was a 1953 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School. She was an executive secretary for various companies. She worked at Condor Signs for 18 years.

She was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and a former member of the CBBA.

Mrs. Fay and her husband, Marvin, were married Oct. 2, 1983. Mrs. Fay was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Pitt and William Kendall, and a daughter, Kelly Powers.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Cheryl Christensen, and husband, Gary, of Des Moines; son, Curtis Pitt, of Des Moines; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four stepdaughters, Linda Renteria and husband, Bento, of Mexico, Jodi Walker and husband, Wesley Jr., of Council Bluffs, Sherri Sevey and husband, Bob, of Council Bluffs and Angela Devore and husband, Dale, of Oklahoma City; stepson, Mark Fay, and wife, Kelly, of Carter Lake; sister, Rita Formanek, and husband, Ed, of Council Bluffs; brother, Norman Knudsen, and wife, Eve, of San Jose, Calif.

Private burial of cremains will be held at Ridgewood Mausoleum.
