In Memory: Lillian L. Vorthmann

Lillian L. Vorthmann, 83, of Hendricks, Minnesota, and formerly of Treynor, died July 28 at Hendricks Hospital.

Mrs. Vorthmann was born October 20, 1917, in Coney to Frederick and Lione (Mikkelson) Juhl. She served in the U.S. Navy Waves during World War II. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Treynor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1982.

Survivors include two sons, Warren and wife, Anne, of Oakland and Philip and wife, Cherie, of Camby, Minnesota; two brothers, Russell Juhl and wife, Elly of Manilla and John Juhl of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one sister, Viola Juhl of Granta Pass, Oregon; and five grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday evening at Cutler Chapel. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Treynor with the Rev. Glenn Schacht officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Memorials may be given to the church.
