In Memory: Janice Mae Mullin
Janice Mae Mullin, 63, of Underwood died March 18, 2001 at her home.
She was born at Thor, Iowa, the daughter of John and Marie (Stockdale) Larson. She graduated from Underwood High School in 1956. A resident of Underwood for 29 years, she had also lived in Council Bluffs and McClelland.
Mrs. Mullin was a homemaker and had previously worked as manager of the Bee Market in Underwood, as a cashier at I-80 Gas at Underwood, and as a press operator for Farmer Labor Press in Council Bluff's.
She and her husband Russell had been married for 42 years.
Survivors in addition to her husband include one son, Mike and his wife Val of Albany, Georgia; three daughters, Tina Yochum and her fiancé Jairo Mayorga of Franklin, Tennessee, Toni Kay and her fiance Harry Trafton of Underwood and Dana and her husband Mike Dose of Moline, Illinois; five grandchildren; four brothers, Dave and his wife Karen of McClelland, Rog and his wife Marcia of Loveland, Colorado, Steve of Lockhaven, Pennsylvania and Jeff of McClelland', many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation with the family was to be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Bernhardt of Underwood Lutheran Church officiating.
Cremation will follow the service and burial will take place Friday at 3:30 p.m. at Fisher Cemetery.
Memorials may be offered to the Council Bluffs Animal Shelter or Underwood Lutheran Church.
