In Memory: Dorothy Bane

Funeral for Dorothy Ann Bane, 75, of Oakland was held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Oakland United Church of Christ with the Rev. Bill Smart officiating.

Mrs. Bane died March 12 at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.

She was born October 7, 1925, in rural Pottawattamie County to Arthur and Hattie (Guttau) Eyberg. She graduated from Treynor High School in 1945. She was a member of the Oakland United Church of Christ.

Mrs. Bane was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A.

Survivors include four daughters, Dr. Linda Frizzell and husband, Richard, of LaPorte, Minnesota, Denise Bever of Oakland, Cheryl Karas and husband, Doyle, of Cumberland and Connie Klebs and husband, Dan, of Wadena, Minnesota; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held at Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery at Oakland.
