In Memory: Pearl Peterson

Pearl Peterson, 85, of Indian Hills Nursing Home died November 14 at Indian Hills.

She was born in rural Minden. She moved to Indian Hills in August of 1997. She attended country school in Harrison County at Joy Hill Country School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Minden United Church of Christ, Minden Legion Auxiliary Neighborhood Clubs and the Minden Church Women's Fellowship.

Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1998; her brother Albert Gregersen, and, her sister Frieda Leaders.

Survivors include one daughter, Faye Slate, and husband, Russell, of Council Bluffs; two sons, Gene and wife, Sherri, of San Antonio, and Lee and wife, Beverly, of Council Bluffs; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held Friday evening at Knutson Funeral Home in Avoca. The funeral was held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Minden United Church of Christ with the Rev. Denny Peterson officiating. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery.
