In Memory: Roger F. Paul

Funeral for Roger F. Paul, 17, of Mud Butte, South Dakota was held June 29 at Community Hall in Union Center, South Dakota, with the Rev. Wes Labier of the Union Center Community Baptist Church and Larry Reinhold of Rainbow Bible Ranch officiating. He died June 25 after a boating accident.

He was born November 18, 1982, to David and Janet (Probst) Paul. He grew up on the family ranch near Maurine, South Dakota, and attended Maurine School through the eighth grade and Sunshine Bible Academy, where he would have been a senior this fall. He attended the Prairie Home Church and attended the Cedar Canyon Bible Camp every summer.

Survivors in addition to his parents include three brothers, Daniel and wife, Tresa, of Carson, North Dakota, John and wife, Rebecca, of Faith, South Dakota, and Neal and wife, Gretchen, of Canton, South Dakota; a sister, Kay Paul, and husband, Jesus Garcia, of Rapid City, South Dakota; grandmothers Esther Probst of Cook, Nebraska and Helen Koch and husband Paul, of Shelby; a niece and nephews.

Burial was in Fairpoint, South Dakota cemetery. Faith Area Memorial Chapel in Faith, South Dakota was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to Sunshine Bible Academy or Cedar Canyon Bible Camp.
