In Memory: Neva (Clark) Stiles

Funeral for Neva (Clark) Stiles, 97, of Council Bluffs was held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Meyer Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. Noel Kropp, chaplain at Bethany Lutheran Home, officiating.

Mrs. Stiles died August 1 at Bethany Lutheran Home.

She was born near Beebeetown to Lee and Nellie Ward Clark. She graduated from Beebeetown High School and Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She taught third grade at Odebolt and then moved to Chicago to study a music conservatory and teach piano. She worked for the Department of the Army as a medical statistician in Washington, D.C. during World War II.

Mrs. Stiles was preceded death by her husband, Roy D. 1966.

Survivors include two nephew, numerous grandnieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

Burial was in the Grange Cemetery.
