In Memory: Elsie M. Timm

Funeral for Elsie M. Timm, 82, f Underwood was to be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Cutler Funeral Tome with the Rev. David Bernardt, pastor of the Underwood Lutheran Church, officiating.

Mrs. Timm died January 24 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

She was born November 10, 1918, near Council Bluffs to Albert and Mary (Asmussen) Limburg. She lived on a farm near Quick before moving to Underwood in 1965. She graduated from Treynor High school in 1936. She was a meat wrapper for Martin Meat for 15 years, retiring in 1980. She was a Member of the Underwood Lutheran Church and the Neola Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Timm was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, on May 1, 1998.

Survivors include two sons, Roger A. of Fargo, North Dakota, and Randall A. and wife, Carol, of Council Bluff's; two sisters, Irene Bruning and Wilma Bothe, both of Treynor; five grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Treynor.

Memorials may be offered to the Underwood Lutheran Church, Underwood Fire and Rescue or the Underwood UMBA Fund.
