In Memory: Elsie Carlile

Elsie V. Carlile, 96, of Underwood, died December 9 at Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs.

Mrs. Carlile was born April 20, 1904 to William and Jennie (Fleck) Whitney in Downsville. She was a resident of Underwood most of her life.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Underwood Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Brush and Pallette Club.

Her husband, David, died in 1985.

Survivors include two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Visitation was Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Cutler Funeral Chapel in Council Bluffs.

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at the chapel with High Priest Ron Kerber of the Underwood RLDS Church officiating.

Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
