In Memory: Kemberly J. Fender

Kemberly Joseph Fender, 43, of Council Bluffs died December 16 at home.

He was born in Omaha. He previously lived in Macedonia, moving to Council Bluffs in September 2001. He attended Carson-Macedonia High School. He worked for area farmers and later became a welder for area construction companies. He was a member of Light of the Word Church in Council Bluffs.

Survivors include one son, Jesse, of Oakland; parents, Rodney and Bonnie Knoke of Macedonia; one sister, Monica Taylor, and husband, Troy, of Kimballton; five brothers, Ray Fender of Omaha, Michael Knoke and wife, Marcy and Mark Knoke, all of Macedonia, Matthew Knoke and wife, Dee, of Treynor and Roddy Knoke and wife, Angle, of Council Bluffs; two grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Light of the Word Church with the Rev. Howard Poff officiating. There was a private burial at a later date at Macedonia Cemetery.

Hertz Funeral Home in Carson was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established.
