In Memory: Tilla Fritschel

Tilla Fritschel was born January 1, 1920 in Charles City, Iowa, and died May 30, 2000.

She married Leonard Fritschel in May, 1944. They had six children: John, William, David, Mary, Paul and Kathryn. The late Rev. Fritschel was a former pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor.

Tilla was a math and science teacher in Aurora, Colorado for twenty years.

She was a beloved member of Montclair Lutheran Church and served on the church council and as chairperson of property and the arts.

Survivors include her children, John, David and Paul and their wives, Lannie, Chris and Nickie; her grandchildren, Timothy, Megan Nelson, Ky, Drew, Amber and Elyse; great granddaughter Kayla; brother Justus Bodgnsieck and his wife Sande.

Memorials are suggested to Montclair Lutheran Church.
