In Memory: Lucille Connolly

Lucille M. Connolly, 76, of Harlan, died March 12 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.

She was born in Persia, graduated from St. Joseph High School in Neola in 1941 and graduated from Commercial Extension School in Omaha.

She was a receptionist for Noble Photography in Harlan from 1969 until she retired in 1988. She was a member of St. Michael's Church in Harlan and the Myrtue Memorial Hospital Guild.

Mrs. Connolly was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1969.

Survivors include a son, Jeremiah, of Newton; a sister, Eileen Brookover of Council Bluff's; two grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

A rosary was planned Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Beem Beiford Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church in Council Bluffs with Monsignor Edward Kelly officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the church.
