In Memory: AI E. Gayman

Al E. Gayman, 73, of Omaha, Nebraska died February 23 in an Omaha hospital.

He was born in Neola and graduated from St. Joseph's School in 1944. He was a World War II veteran.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Stella in 1966; brother Leo and sister Elizabeth Bendon, and stepdaughter Barbara Mancuso.

Survivors include his wife Mary Gayman; sons John Gayman and spouse Ann of Bellevue, Nebraska, Tom Gayman and Lynn Reynolds of Omaha; stepchildren, Fred Bolte and spouse Linde, Shelbyville, MO, James Bolte and spouse Charlene, Omaha, Nancy Jackson and spouse Don, Brookfield, MO; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Cecilia Wear and Rose Wear both of Missouri Valley, Tillie McEvoy and spouse Ed of Logan, and Agne B Wessel and spouse Gerry of Omaha.

A wake service was held February 25 at West Center Chapel, Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak Cutler.

Funeral mass was Saturday, February 26 at Christ the King Church with the Rev. Thomas Ward as celebrant. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with military rites by Benson V.F.W.

Memorials are suggested to Christ the King Church or Holy Name School.
