In Memory: Evaughn Bruner

Graveside service for Evaughn E. Bruner, 80, of Council Bluffs was held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery with Chaplain Tom Backer of Alegent Hospice officiating.

Mrs. Bruner died November 7 at her home. She had lived in Council Bluffs for the past 50 years, and previously lived in Kansas.

She was born in Latham, Kansas.

Mrs. Bruner was preceded in death by her husband, Chester, in 1981.

Survivors include two daughters, Gayle Gartin of Neola and Rosalie Lindsey of Council Bluffs; two sisters, Rosetta Finn of Council Bluffs and Eva Hulse of Pratt, Kansas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

McCurdy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to Alegent Hospice.
