In Memory: Evelyn Anderson

Funeral for Evelyn Anderson, 85, of Council Bluffs was held Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Peace United Church of Christ in Walnut with the Rev. Doris Ruben officiating.

Mrs. Anderson died October 10 at Indian Hills Nursing Home.

She was born in Tennant and graduated from Tennant High School in 1933. She lived near Walnut before moving to Walnut in 1977. She lived at Peace Haven Retirement Center from 1988 to 1995, when she moved to Indian Hills Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and was a member of Peace United Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Beverly Madison and husband, Ernest, of Omaha, Vivian Storjohann and husband, James, of Walnut and Sheryl Matzen of Blair, Nebraska; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held at Knutson Funeral Home in Walnut. Burial was in the Walnut Cemetery.
