1n Memory: Carl Conrad

A memorial service for Carl Woodrow Conrad, 87, of Papillion, Nebraska, was held Monday at 11
A.M. at the Ralston United Church of Christ in Ralston, Nebraska.

Mr. Conrad died February 16 in Papillion.

He was born December 23, 1912, in Blue Hill, Nebraska. He worked in the Martin bomber plant at Fort Crook during World War II. He owned the Deluxe Curtain Laundry, Cedarnole Shopping Center and Orleans Square Apartments. He was also employed by MUD and Westside School District 66, retiring in 1975. He was a member
of Masonic Lodge No. 326 in Omaha.

Mr. Conrad was preceded in death by his wife, Vlasta.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Engborg and husband, Barney, of Pierson, Florida, Sandy Letner and husband, Brian, of McClelland and Janie Tinder and husband, Thad, of Omaha; a sister, Evelyn Roth, of McCook, Nebraska, three brothers, Harold Conrad of Hastings, Nebraska, Marion Walburn of Ogalala, Nebraska, and Virgil Walburn of Kearney, Nebraska; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Crosby Kunold Burket Swanson Golden Funeral Chapel in Omaha was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to Laurel Hill Cemetery Association in Omaha.
