In Memory: Dorothy Breeden

Dorothy L. Breeden, 77, of Council Bluffs died February 20 at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital.

She was born in Neola and lived in Lewis before moving to Council Bluffs in 1951. She was a seamstress for Schneider Co. for 15 years, retiring in 1976. She was of the Methodist Faith.

Mrs. Breeden and her husband, James E., were married June 28, 1965.

Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Jean Elliott, and husband, Dennis, of Council Bluffs; a stepdaughter, Barbara Robinson, and husband, Robert, of Norfolk, Nebraska; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening at Cutler Funeral Home. Funeral was held Wednesday at 1 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Robinson, a stepson in law, of Norfolk, Nebraska, officiating. The body was cremated following the service. Burial of ashes was in Cedar Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
