ROBERT DORAN PHILLIPS

Funeral services will be held
Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Carson
Presbyterian church for Robert
Doran Phillips, 82, retired farmer
and resident of the Carson-Oak-
land community for 66 years,
who died Thursday at his home
here after a short illness. The
Rev. DeWitt Stauffer will con-
duct rites, with burial in Car-
son cemetery. McKee funeral
home is in charge of arrange-
ments.

Surviving are his widow, Lau-
ra: three daughters, Mrs. Clar-
ence Atkinson of Council Bluffs,
Mrs. Elton Taylor of Minden and
Miss Olive Phillips of Carson;
three sons, Archer of Pacific
Junction, Ivan of Osceola and Ce-
cil Phillips of Omaha; 20 grand-
children and eight great grand-
children.
