Mrs. Laura Jane Phillips

CARSON - Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Carson Presbyterian church for Mrs. Laura Jane Phillips, 74, who died suddenly at her home here Thursday afternoon. The Rev John Alexander pastor of the Carson Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Carson.

Mrs. Phillips had been a resident of the Carson Oakland Community for 58 years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Atkinson of Council Bluffs, Olive Phillips, at home, and Mrs. Elton L. Taylor of Minden; three sons, Archie of Pacific Junction, Ivan of Osceola and Cecil Phillips of Omaha, a sister, Mrs. Estella Ford of Sterling, Col., a brother, Amos Ridlen of Council Bluffs, 20 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
