ARTHUR LARSEN
Word was reported here Friday of
the death of Arthur Larsen, 71,
of Hastings.

Larsen was a former mayor of Hastings and retired some 12 years ago from farming. He died Nov. 23 at his home. He was also a former city councilman at Hastings, a trustee in the United Methodist Church there and a member of the Masonic Lodge at Logan.

Survivors include his widow, Frances L.; four daughters, Mrs. Bob Burbridge of Mondamin, Mrs. Carl Atkinson of Council Bluffs; Mrs. Lowell Frazier of Durand, Ill. and Mrs. Tom Altermatt of Heidelberg, Germany; four sons, Richard of Los Angeles, Calif., Don of Durante, David of Mission, Kan. and Art of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, William of Diamond Springs, Ark.: 31 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Tuesday from the United Methodist Church at Hastings with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery in Council Bluffs.
