Clarence A. Atkinson

Clarence A. Atkinson, 70, 116
Dorothy Ave., died Monday at
a local hospital after being a pa-
tient there four weeks.

Atkinson has been in failing
health since 1958. He was born
near Carson and farmed many
years in the Oakland area.

He moved to Council Bluffs 22
years ago and for the past eight
years was employed at the Blue
Star Foods. Atkinson was a
member of Valley View Baptist
Church.

Survivors include: widow,
Louie; son, Carl of Council
Bluffs; daughter, Mrs. Marjorie
Busse of Minden; sister, Miss
Bessie Atkinson of Harlan; 10
grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.

Woodring Funeral Home is in
charge.
