Connie R. Holst

The funeral for Connie R. Holst, 59, of Treynor will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Zion Congregational Church in Treynor with the Rev. Alan Hardy officiating.

Mrs. Holst died Feb. 11 at Hospice House in Omaha.

She was born June 24, 1943, in Greenfield. She moved to Treynor 39 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Congregational Church in Treynor and was a volunteer at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

Mrs. Holst and her husband, Virgil "Fritz" Holst Jr., were married Oct. 23, 1964.

Survivors in addition to her husband include one daughter, Penny Etter, and husband, Kenny, of Elmo, Mo.; one son, Michael F., and wife, Tina, of Fremont, Neb.; two sisters, Delores Shea of Burlington and Peg Embree and husband, Mervin, of Elliott; one brother, John Euans, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; brother-in-law, Bob Nelsen, of Omaha; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Treynor, followed by a luncheon and fellowship at the church. Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to Zion Congregational Church, Treynor Fire & Ambulance or Treynor Community Service Center.
