In Memory: Margaret Sigler

Funeral for Margaret Lucy Sigler, 88, of Council Bluffs was held Saturday at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Raphael Masabakhwa, associate pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Sigler died January 19 at Risen Son Christian Village.

She was born in Neola and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1929. She moved to Risen Son Christian Village two months ago. She worked for Pendleton Woolen Mills for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Farm Bureau Women.

Mrs. Sigler was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on December 13, 1991.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Fletcher and husband, Martin, of Council Bluffs and Barbara Frommelt and husband, Merle, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin; a son Donald, and wife, Gloria, of Hobbs, New Mexico; a sister, Maurine McManamy, of Council Bluffs; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A wake service was held at the church, followed by visitation with the family. Burial was in the Grange Cemetery.

Beem Belford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to St. Patrick's Church, Alegent Health Mercy Hospice or St. Albert Schools.
