In Memory: Henry DiCenzo

Funeral services for Henry W. DiCenzo, 76, of Underwood were held Tuesday at Meyer Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bernhardt, of First Lutheran Church in Underwood, officiating.

He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and had lived in Underwood for 44 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for Anderson Construction retiring in 1986 with 21 years of service. He as a member of the Local #1140'Lor Union.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie; a daughter, Kimberly Larson and husband, Brian, of Underwood; three sons, Wayne and wife, Daeanne, of Council Bluffs, Paul and wife, Linda, of Toledo, Ohio, and David and wife, Suzanne, of Underwood; six sisters, Phyllis Navarria, Jenny Lopez and Edith Fusco and husband, John, all of Lawrence, Viola Sharp and husband, Henry, of Chocorua, New Hampshire, Dorothy Tremblay and husband, Ray, of Hudson, New Hampshire and Annette Mosson of Boston; two brothers, Fred of Hamstead, New Hampshire and Joe and wife, Theresa, of Lawrence; nine grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

Visitation with the family was held Monday at the funeral home.

Burial was in Fisher Cemetery in Underwood. Military honors were conducted by VFW Post #737.

Memorials may be offered to the Underwood Lutheran Church Building Fund.
