In Memory: Minnie Wohlers

Funeral for Minnie Wohlers, 101, of Missouri Valley, was held Monday at 11 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley with the Rev. Daniel Brammeier officiating.

Mrs. Wohlers died October 4 at the Longview Care Center in Missouri Valley.

She was born March 8, 1900, to Chris and Annie (Larsen) Johnsen in Boomer Township. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and BHW Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, in 1969, two sons, one daughter, one granddaughter and one great great granddaughter.

Survivors include two daughters, Arlene Driver and Gladys Bois, both of Honey Creek; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held Sunday evening at the First Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley. Burial was in Grange Cemetery in Honey Creek.
