In Memory: James Winchell

James Cecil Winchell, 46, of Council Bluffs died May 3 at his home.

He was born November 29, 1954, to John Winchell and Lorene (Woods) of Des Moines and lived most of his life in Treynor and Council Bluffs.

Survivors include his wife, Denise (Heilesen); three daughters, Hannah, A. Isabelle and Haddie, all of Kirkman; two sons, Justin, of Fort Stewart, Georgia, and Jaxon, of Kirkman; three brothers, John of New London, Burt of Bellevue, Nebraska and Tom of Treynor.

Visitation with the family was held Monday from 6:30 to 8 P.M. at McCurdy Funeral Home.

A memorial service was held low Tuesday at Fellowship of Faith Christian Center in Oakland with Rev. Mike Kalstrup officiating.

Memorials may be offered to the children's college fund.
