In Memory: Dorothy Kalstrup

Dorothy M. Kalstrup, 82, of Treynor died December 25, 2001 at Jennie Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs.

She was born April 22, 1919 to Charles and Lizzie (Clulow) Clark of rural Logan. She was a 1937 graduate of Logan High School.

A homemaker, Dorothy lived in Beebeetown, Treynor and Logan before returning to Treynor in 1991. She was preceded in death by her husband. Paul Kalstrup, who died in 1976.

Survivors include four sons, Jimmie and his wife Ilene of Council Bluffs, Raymond of Treynor, Paul R. and his wife Shirley of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Pastor Michael and his wife Joan of McClelland; one daughter, Janice Bortscheller and her husband Larry of Spirit Lake; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Clark and his wife Maxine of Logan and Verne Clark and his wife Arlene of Wichita, Kansas; three sisters, Frances Walters of Wichita, Naomi McGee and her husband Arnold of Cypress, California, and Marjorie Dyas of Blair, Nebraska; nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family was held at Fellowship of Faith Christian Center in Oakland Thursday evening, December 27.

Funeral service was held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 28 at the Fellowship of Faith Christian Center with Pastor Larry Forristall of Sioux Falls, South Dakota officiating.

Memorials may be offered to either the Fellowship of Faith Christian Center at Oakland or to the Treynor Fire & Ambulance Fund.
