In Memory: Florence McKean

The funeral for Florence S. McKean, 91, of Logan was held Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at Pauley Funeral home in Harlan with the Rev. Orris Drake officiating.

Mrs. McKean died January 13 at Westmont Cary Center in Logan. She was born in Persia. She attended Cass Center School in Harrison County. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. McKean was preceded in death by her husband, William “Lee”. They were married 64 years.

Survivors include one son, John “Dwight”, and wife, Dorothy, of Portsmouth; one son, Dennis, and wife, Donna, of Ralston, Nebraska; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family was held Tuesday evening with a prayer service at the funeral home. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery in Persia.
