In Memory: Heather M. Jorgensen

The funeral for Heather M. Jorgensen, 17, of Red Oak was held Friday at 1 P.M. at Cutler Funeral home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth M. Bentley of Midwestern Baptist Church in Omaha officiating.

She died December 31 in Red Oak following an auto accident. Her mother, Sheryl, also died in the accident.

She was born September 24, 1984, Omaha to Jeff and Sheryl (Mericle) Jorgensen. She was an 11th grade student at Griswold High School and worked at the Family Table Restaurant in Atlantic. She was a member of the Griswold High School band, FC-CLA, and a volunteer for the Griswold High School Little Paws Day Care.

Survivors include her father, Jeff Jorgensen, of Red Oak; one sister, Andrea Jorgensen, of Omaha; one brother, Colton Jorgensen, of Red Oak; grandmother, Mary Mericle, of Council Bluffs; aunts and uncles.

Visitation with the family was held Thursday from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to heather M. Jorgensen Memorial Scholarship or Midwestern Baptist Church.
