In Memory: Alfred Miller

The funeral for Alfred Miller, 92, of Silver City was held Monday at 10:30 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church in Mineola with the Rev. Stephany Sanborn officiating.

Mr. Miller died January 16 at home. He was born in rural Silver City. He lived most of his life in Silver City. He attended Evergreen Community School and Treynor High School. He farmed until retirement in 1986.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Ona Lee, on May 14, 1998.

Survivors include two sisters, Mildred Vogel of Silver City and Velma Schultz of Glenwood; three grandchildren; six great–grandchildren.

Burial was in Silver City Cemetery. Raynor-Hertz Funeral Home in Glenwood was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be offered to St. John Lutheran Church in Meneola or the Silver City Ambulance.
