Jacob Jensen, 81, retired brick mason and contractor, died Saturday morning at his home, 1524 E. Broadway when he suffered a heart attack.
Born September 22, 1861 in Denmark, Mr. Jensen had been a resident of Council Bluffs since 1902. He was a member of the Plymouth Brethren Church. Mrs. Jensen died eight years ago.
Survivors are two daughters Mrs. H. E. Vernon, Council Bluffs, and Mrs. A. E. Larson of Kellerton, IA; four sons, James of Glendale, CA, John and Peter of Council Bluffs, Joe of Kansas City Mo., 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The body is at the Cutler funeral home.
