Catherine (Hass) Bornholdt, 1867-1942

Mrs. Charles Bornholdt, 74, of Avoca, died suddenly late Wednesday afternoon from a heart attack at the home of her sister, Miss anna Hass. Mrs. Bornholdt had been downtown about 4 pm and had just returned home when she was stricken.

Surviving are two children, a daughter, Mrs. Edna Burkhead of Salina, Kansas; and a son, Herbert, of Warsaw, Nebraska, and one granddaughter. Mrs. Bornholdt was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Alma.

In recent years, Mrs. Bornholdt has lived with her sister, Miss Anna Hass.

The body is at the Blust Funeral home. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
