Mrs. Ida Niemann

Mrs. Ida Niemann, 79, died at her home here Thursday after a week’s illness of streptococcus infection.

Mrs. Niemann was born in Germany and came with her parents to the United States at the age of eight. The rest of her life she had resided in the Avoca community. She was the widow of William Niemann.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Karstens of Avoca; two sisters, Mrs. Della McKinley of Avoca and Mrs. Mary Franz of Minneapolis, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the First Lutheran church with the Rev. Joseph Gerlt officiating.

Burial will be in Avoca cemetery.
