Miss Margaret T. McCarthy
Miss Margaret T. McCarthy, 59, lifelong resident of Pottawattamie county, died at her home three and a half miles west of Hancock early Tuesday. She had been ill two months of carcinoma.
Surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Ellen Gross of Omaha, Mrs. Kathryn Wise of Avoca, and Mary McCarthy of Hancock, and two brothers, Michael and Thomas McCarthy of Hancock.
The body will lie in state at the home until the service Friday at 9:30 am at St. Mary’s church, Avoca. The Blust funeral home of Avoca is in charge.
