Raymond A. Cook 1883-1946

Funeral services for Raymond A. Cook who died at his home in Omaha on Tuesday, October 23 were held from the First Congregational church here Friday, October 26 with the Rev. Ivan C. Bachtell officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Cook was born in Fairview township, Shelby county on July 2, 1883; when a young man he moved to Fremont, Nebraska. He was united in marriage to Camilla Thompson and to this union two children were born. He later moved to Omaha where he lived for the past 17 years.

He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage about two weeks ago and never recovered. He leaves to mourn, a son, Vernon H. Cook and a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Siders of Fremont, Nebraska; his mother, Mrs. Emma C. Cook of Avoca; two sisters, Mrs. S.E. Davis of Vancouver, Washington, and Mrs. Grace Whitaker of Fremont, Nebraska; five grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
