William W. Campbell 1877-1943

William W. Campbell, was born November 27, 1877, at Avoca, Iowa, and died November 30, 1943 at the Jenny Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Mr. Campbell was united in marriage to Miss Edna Pauley at Avoca, Iowa on November 29, 1915.

He lived most of his life in Avoca and was an employee of the Rock Island railroad for 25 years.

One child, Carlee Deneal Campbell, preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his passing; his wife, Mrs. Campbell, and six children, four sons: Edward M. of Underwood; PFC William Alfred with the US Army somewhere in North Africa; PVT Earnest Lloyd with the Army in New Guinea; PVT. Charles Walter with the Army in Marchfield, California; two daughters: Mrs. Lee A. Snyder of Lincoln, Nebraska and Miss Nancy E. Campbell at home in Avoca.

The deceased also has one living sister, Mrs. Lillian Spearling of North Bend, Oregon, and four grandchildren.
