William J. Franz

ATLANTIC—Funeral services for William j. Franz, former prominent resident of Atlantic and Avoca, who died Tuesday at his home in Minneapolis, were held last Thursday at Welander-Quist chapel in Minneapolis, the Rev. Joseph Bachman of Westminster Presbyterian church officiating and burial was in Lakewood cemetery.

Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Adella Getting of Aitkin, Minnesota; two sons, Clarence at home, and William with the armed forces in Australia; a brother, Henry Franz of Avoca, and a sister, Mrs. Marie Busse of Oakland.
