Mrs. Satie Ruckle 1859-1943

Funeral services for Mrs. Satie Ruckle, 84, were held Thursday April 1 at 2 pm from the Blust Bros funeral home with Paul a. Davie officiating. The Avoca chapter of the Eastern star took part in the services.

Satie L. Hart, only daughter, of Mr. and Mrs. George W. hart was born in Fremont, Shiwassie County, Michigan, May 1, 1859. At the age of twelve years she came with her parents to Avoca, Iowa, where she has since resided with the exception of four years spent in Kansas.

In March 1881, she was married to James G. Ruckle of Avoca, Iowa, who preceded her in death in 1904.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Baker of Booneville, Iowa where she has made her home for several years; also two grandsons, Frank of Des Moines and Charles Baker of Bonneville, Iowa, and three great grandchildren.
