Frank True 1859-1942

Funeral services for Frank M. Tree, 83, pioneer Avoca farmer will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Blust Funeral home.

Mr. True died at the farm home of his son, Merritt, Wednesday morning and was born on a farm just east of Avoca, September 5, 1859. He was a small boy when the railroad came to Avoca.

He is survived by three sons, Merrit and Robert of Avoca, and Fred of Broadbent, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Pedicord of Spokane, Washington, and two brothers, Joe of Avoca and Lew of Wenatchee, Washington.
